GV

interesting complain of GV

sipsorcery

ribbit

provider

two important things:

  1. the register contact sip account has to the same user name as your ribbit sip account. so normally you need to create a second sip account in sipsorcery;
  2. we can only use IP address of the register contact host. not host name : sipsorcery.com. only IP address works for me.

dial plan

dialin plan: default:

if sys.In then
 sys.Log("incoming call...")
 if sys.IsAvailable() then
   sys.Dial("#{sys.Username}@local",180)
   sys.Respond(480, "#{sys.Username} Not available")
 else
   sys.Dial("u5xxxxxx000@local",180)
 end
else
 sys.Log("starting dialplan...")
 sys.GoogleVoiceCall("cxxxxxxx@gmail.com", "xxxxxx", "17xxxxxx", "#{req.URI.user}", ".*", 7)
 sys.Log("Sorry, Google Voice Call failed.")
end

dialout plan: ribbit-out

sys.Log("starting dialplan of ribbit...")
sys.Dial("#{req.URI.User}@ribbit")

google voice

Xlite config

  1. xlite for sip client to respond to ribbit service:

for xlite for sip client to respond to google voice service is similar except I will use my regular sipsorcery account name, not u5xxxxx sip accounts in sipsorcery.
